About The Year of Ninety-One

1991 was the year that "My Girl" was released. Veta was in the middle of staying a child and growing up too soon. It was my favorite movie then, and still is today. I was six years old when it came out. Photos from my childhood were all done in film. To me, film photography means childhood, it means sentimentality, it means family, it means the time before the world was hard, it means memories, and it means remembering life the way it was.

My name is Courtney Michele and I love film photography. I own an Olympus OM1 film camera. Every day I get better with this craft, the more I want to share it.  This blog is a tribute to the time when all we had was film to capture our memories.
