A tribute to my very first family photo session.

I've been using and playing with film since 2012. Two years after I began, a friend of mine asked me if I could do a family session for her. I found a location nearby and took the photos. I had the film developed and scanned at a local low end photo lab.

It's funny how after almost every shoot I go through the same process of nervous anticipation, worrying my work would be low quality or not come out at all. When the pictures are done, I pick them up and obsess over each and every photo. I get discouraged at the ones that don't come out great, and after weeding those out, I look in awe at my work. After a while, after more practice and knowledge of the craft, I look back and I see all the flaws. I see all the things that I would change if I could go back in time.

So here it is, the photo session that started it all. Lomo-CN400.
