Testing high shutter speeds with Fuji Superia 400 Part 3.
This is part three of my three part series on testing high shutter speeds with Fuji Superia 400. Once again this is mid day with my friend as model. In this scene the subject has direct light from the sun.

In my opinion, the best light renditions come from either highest shutter speed and open aperture or moderately high shutter speed with small aperture. 1/1000 at 1.8f, 1/500 at 1.8f, 1/500 at 5.6f, and 1/125 at 16f. If I were to shoot this again, I would be safe in those zones.
It all depends on what look you are going for and what you want to keep or take away in the background. In the words of Andreas Feininger, "You have a choice." In any situation, the wider the aperture, the smaller depth of field. It's one way to keep out distractions.
